Beta terms
Mimic is free during the beta, which ends when 1.0 ships with a commercial license. Beta users hear about pricing first.
In short, the beta license lets you:
- use the SDK to build, test and ship apps, free, during the beta;
- keep shipped apps on their beta version for 90 days after 1.0, to move to the commercial license or remove the SDK.
It doesn’t let you:
- redistribute the SDK itself, or wrap it in another SDK or developer tool;
- reverse engineer its compiled parts;
- share your access with people outside your organisation.
The SDK depends on open-source components under their own licenses: MediaPipe and its face model (Apache 2.0) and, in Unity, the MediaPipe Unity Plugin (MIT).
